Need SSH credentials for Chinese X2 Plus game stick console

Greetings!

I apologize for the Enligh, but I do not speak Italian. I registered to this forum as I observed that this is one of the few places that one particular Chinese console is being reviewed:

I purchased the x2 "plus" game console not that long ago as I wanted to replay some retro games. I have never been a hardcore fan or anything - but 40$ for almost 60k games, and not having to deal with setting up emulators was a too good of a deal to miss. I have no other consoles to compare the performance, but so far it fits my needs just fine.

I yeeted a USB hub to attach bluetooth & WI-FI adapters for additional connectivity, but so far I've been unable to connect to the console via SSH. The default emuelec credentials (user: root pass: emuelec) don't seem to work. I also attempted the usual admin/password/12345678, etc but they don't seem to work as well. I wanted to try a several other methods before attempting to bruteforcing it.

I'd be grateful if anyone can suggest how can I get the SSH credentials, or at least provide instructions how can I backup the config+games on external storage, because the integrated sd/tf card is likely cheap, and I don't want to lose the whole config because of a corrupted card.
