I see the AVGA2 driver
It it RV380(x600)!!!!!! Not RV370(x550)
I think may be use X600 to mod it

I use the tool see the arcadevga X550 crystal clock is 31.000Mhz,but my x550 and most x550 is 27.000MHZ.
Could anyone to verify ArcadeVGA2 X550 card,crystal clock is 31.000MHZ or 27.000MHZ? (near the PCI-E interface, it is a silver cover 1cmx0.3cm item)

I think must change the crystal to 31.000MHZ to run,because I modify bios let it is use 27MHZ,It is success for the boot process,but can't seen anything.

Btw,I use X600pro BIOS to flash x550 it is work!(use ATI offical driver it will seen X600)
So x600pro = x550 for this task.

Nessuno che riesce a controllare? Per chi non sia abile con l'inglese il nostro amico chiede se qualcuno può verificare se il quarzo della avga2 sia a 31Mhz, è un piccolo rettangolo argento vicino al connettore PCI-e.

Mi pare strano che si siano messi a cambiare i quarzi su tutte le avga che vendono, ma controllare non costa nulla.

by the way: I try to buy 31MHZ XTAL,but it is very diffcult to find it! You can easy to find 30MHZ and 32MHZ,but I can't find 31MHZ,if want 31MHZ must custom order from factory,but it is very cheap if you order large,I ask the factory, if you order 10k or high it only cost $0.1 per unit.
I try to replace the XTAL from 27MHZ to 30MHZ/32MHZ but nothing happen..........no any display..............may someone take a high resolution snapshot about the AVGA2 x550,thank you very much!
If someone could verify it is 31MHZ,I will order it!

but the picture no clear show how clock about the XTAL.

btw: the mini order 31MHZ is 100pts,I ask the factory.but a little expensive.

Posso dire che dalle prove che ho fatto le Ati sono quelle da prediligere (per la compatibilità e per il fatto di non avere alcun limite sulle risoluzioni aggiungibili).

Se volete io ho tra le mani una Ultimarc , una ArcadeVGA2 , ATI Radeon HD2400 256MB DDR2 PCI-E e relativi Driver ...

Potrebbe essere utile estrarre il bios e caricare i driver ?
