rispetto all'ultima versione che ho rilasciato, ho fatto qualche bugfixes, aggiunta la possibilità di caricare allo startup un savestate utile se si vogliono ad esempio saltare i caricamenti di un gioco e soprattutto ho migliorato l'audio.
Il problema con la versione precedente è che un canale audio veniva completamente ignorato e quindi non riprodotto,con questo fix il sonoro risulta completo anche se non perfetto, di sicuro migliora molto le cose.

Va modificato uno script che si trova in /bin/ a memoria il nome è startretro, lunedì ti preparo patch

Hi guys,
Great work on the new image. It seems to run faster than the older image I was using and BOR is pretty cool.
I have one issue , the volume setting in emulation station does not save.
I have tried lowering the volume, and when I turn off the arcade and turn it back on , the volume is setting does not save.
I have tried quitting and restarting emulation station from the menu to see if that would make it save but it does not.
Any idea on how I can fix this?
Is there a config file that I can manually edit ?
I tried googling the issue but did not find a solution.

Yes i confirm that new kernel run pretty fast than older, anyway pressing start and quit emulation then restart should save volume..... Very strange your issue

I'm using the new image with the first patch applied.
I did not apply the second patch.

So when I turn on the arcade the emulation station system volume Is set at 93.
I lower it to 50.
If I do either quit or restart emulation station from the menu.
It restarts and the volume changes to 49.
Then I turn off the arcade, turn it back on and it resets to 93.
Games I add to the favorites menu stay, so it's saving some settings when I cycle it on and off.
Any ideas ?

Why now you talk about retroarch? Before you asked about emulation. For change and save volume on retroarch just enable on rgui saveonexit flag.

I would like to fix the volume in emulation station.
Can someone with the new image try adjusting the volume level and see if it saves for them?

I was asking about retroarch volume too because if I can't fix the emulation station volume, then I might try to adjust the retroarch volume instead

Buongiorno a tutti, non riesco a trovare nessuna immagine ready to use o solamente la versione di retropie/retroarch per la pandora 5s (che altro non è che la 4). Qualcuno ha qualche link utile o info? Originale fa pena, con il vsync di sattivato è inutilizzabile!

Ho notato che in moltissimi giochi l'audio gracchia un pò e molti girano lenti, devo acquistare una pandora's box più performante o devo smanettare qualche impostazione?

Buongiorno, prova a copiare il file all'interno di forcemode chiamato forcecga31hz, devi solo copiarlo nella root della scheda e dovrebbe funzionare per te. Un saluto.

Ciao a tutti! Ho installato l'immagine già compilata sulla mia Pandora's Box 4 AUS (per chiarezza, quella con il PCB ad L). Tutto sembra funzionare più o meno bene a parte qualche problema col settaggio dei controlli. Mi spiego meglio:
Il cabinato ha un cablaggio JAMMA standard, quando configuro i tasti per il primo giocatore tutto funziona correttamente. Però i tasti del giocatore due sono completamente sballati. Naturalmente, se vado a configurare il giocatore due, ò il primo giocatore che ha problemi.

E' un problema noto? C'è qualcosa che posso modificare nei file di configurazione per risolvere?

Spero che il problema sia chiaro, nel caso non esitate a chiedere ulteriori spiegazioni.
