First: install the driver.
Second: after restart, run VMMaker, and restart again.

This shouldn't be necessary in a normal situation but let's see if it helps here.

niente,arrivata oggi una x800,provo,e mi fa lo stesso effetto della gforce..cioè si vede male..molto scuro e con l'effetto grigio sul bianco..inizio a pensare sia proprio il monitor che non accetta bene i segnali,perchè con l'arcade vga 3000 prestatami da un amico si vede perfettamente..bho

E' molto strano perchè l'uscita di una scheda video forzata e quella di una arcadevga sono identiche.

non so che dire,però con l'arcade vga 3000 si vede perfettamente,mentre con queste fa proprio questo effetto strano..o cè qualcosa da regolare che non capisco..

I have cleaned up all with ATI REMOVED and restart, I have installed the driver and restart.
Nothing new (dont switch 15 khz).
I did run VWMAKER after change the path of MAME and the path of MAME.ini from vwmaker .ini
At the start the vwmaker send me a message: NO COMPATIBLE VIDEO DRIVER FOUND
but it continues with installation: extracting mame.xml...
Importing video mode from mame.xml
530 different video modes found
Generating dynamic mode table... 410 redundant video modes
Reducing mode list... 0 video mode dropped
120 modelines generate
Finished. Press any key

When the program end i tried open ARCADEOSD but i dont found the modelines at 15 khz.
I'm gone crazy
Remember: My HD4650 is AGP and not PCIe. Do yuo want that i send it????

That means that the driver is not even loaded, so it just loads a default video driver. Probably the system is deciding not to load the driver because it's seeing something wrong (possibly with the .inf file not matching your card).

Just in case you didn't, remind restarting the system after VMMaker finishes.

Hi moket, thanks a lot for your video and time.

It looks like your card is a very special one, AMD didn't launch any AGP card since X1950 so all newer AGP cards are "unofficial" and not suported by AMD, so there are a lot of issues with the drivers. There is a hotfix but not for Catalyst 9.3 (http://support.amd.com/us/kbarticles/Pa ... otfix.aspx).

Have a look at this thread and you'll see what I mean:

Specially, have a look at the last post by 'geofadit'. It seems he found a workaround for it.

However, as we already managed to get the driver installed, you probably may jump to the last step where he mentions the Realtek drivers. That could explain the yellow exclamation in your Device Manager.

If it doesn't work and you want to follow all the steps from the beginning, download the Catalyst Control Center (only CCC not the driver) from here:

I can't guarantee anything but that seems to point to some direction.

Which is the best ATI AGP whit support Pixel shaded 3.0 (or 2.0) for use your driver???
I want to change this FUCKING video card What your think about it??? Many problems for this card and i dont want it...

Non ne ho idea, prima di buttare tutto però proverei a fare quello che scritto Calamity.
Il problema sta nell'AGP vediamo se il buon Calamity ci sa indicare qualche scheda AGP sicuramente funzionante.

Hi moket, before looking for another card please try installing the Realtek drivers on the link I posted, they're for the HDMI but may be part of the problem (not sure).

Yes. This is because you already have the driver installed, but you have that yellow exclamation in Device Manager. Let's see if installing the Realtek driver helps fixing that.

Yes, if the Realtek driver doesn't help, then try geofadit's method, but using the CRT_Emudriver that I posted for you in megaupload instead of the Catalyst hotfix: uninstall everything, install Catalyst Control Panel 9.3 (from the link I posted), and after that CRT_Emudriver. Finally install the Realtek driver.

The realteck audio driver dont install any driver (it send me a message error). After i tried the geofadit's method. Uninstalled all driver and restart. After C.C.C. installation a message error ask me "the CCC cant be run because it need a Netframewor 2.0"... Ok. So i did Install framework 2.0 (but, there isnt a framework 2.0 whit Service Pack 3?????). When restart the CCC talk whit me whit another message: There is no driver or any ATI driver for my Video card. Ok. I begin to install your driver. When i restart the same message from CCC appears: Not driver install!!!
Shit!!!! But i carry on and tried to install the realteck audio driver again and this time the it DONE but no way!!!!
CCC send me always the same message and the yellow exclamation remains.

I'm very sorry that it didn't work. If you still wan't to keep your card try using the drivers provided by the manufacturer and use VMMaker over them, just limit the TotalModes to 60 and there's a possibility that it could work. Consider sending me the original drivers so I can dig in them to see if there's something we're missing.
