sblocchiamo un altro ricordo per i più vecchi:
www.davesclassics.com (dove la S finale era fondamentale se non volevi vedere tette e culi invece di emulatori)
il messaggio finale:
"Hi, this is
dave_w40@yahoo.com, former webmaster of Dave's Video Game Classics. The site was originally created on February 20th, 1996 for people to come and download emulators and some classic game conversions of their favorite games. From 2/96 through 3/99, the website was located at
www.davesclassics.com. From 4/99 until 10/99, the site was located at
www.davesvgc.com. The site which now houses the page's previous content is located at
www.vintagegaming.com.
One of the pages located at Dave's Video Classics contained emulators and other software for the Sony PlayStation® console. At one point, I had wrongly posted a copy of the Sony PlayStation® BIOS for people to download, which was required by a couple of the free emulators available. This BIOS was not an authorized copy from Sony, or from anyone I knew or believed was authorized to give me the BIOS. Sony did not know that I was going to post the BIOS before I posted it, nor was I given permission by them to post it.
The BIOS is Sony's copyrighted intellectual property. I should NOT have posted a copy of the BIOS without prior permission first. I understand that it is unlawful to post copies of code like this BIOS that belong to Sony, because not only is it unfair to them, but it encourages others to make copies or download the code as well. I now know that making (and posting) AND DOWNLOADING copies of the BIOS violates the copyright laws.
I apologize for posting a copy of the BIOS and hope that no harm comes to Sony through my posting the BIOS. I also encourage anyone else who might have posted it on their website to remove it immediately and not make the same mistake that I have."
